Confirmation notice for salvaging?
Hope this wasn't already mentioned months ago or something...
There was a screenshot thread where a few people mentioned how they'd accidentally salvaged an armor they wanted to keep. I remember doing that once or twice myself, although I personally lost nothing very important. I don't remember seeing something like this mentioned in the last update, either, so I'm assuming it hasn't been implemented already....heh...I haven't played in a couple days...
Maybe a small confirmation when you click on an item to salvage it? Just an 'are you sure? yes/no' kind of thing?

Noooo... people should carefully think before they do something, but those Windows "Are you really, really super sure Yes/ No" Buttons won't help. This will only reduce your sensitiveness and you click automatically on such dialogues "yes"...

Would be highly annoying when i am looking to salvage 10 of something in a row.
heck its annoying now having to double click the kit each time. But for as often as i need to do mass salvages its not worth suggesting a window pop up and ask how many of that stack i want salvaged

Well...I was mostly thinking for the armors or whatnot, not all the crafting materials. I don't think armors and weapons stack, do they?
I dunno....they did something like that for a couple situations in D2, and it was actually fairly useful. Maybe not needed very often, but that one time you accidentally click on that great weapon because you unequipped it for some reason, one might be glad such a thing is there.

As a minor player-side solution, I've developed the habit of placing things of possible value that I'd like to avoid salvaging into my belt pouch and bags.
As long as it's not in my general inventory 'bag', it's safe. I reserve all salvaging activities to that main bag, this way I'll always avoid that possibility of an accidental salvage. This method has yet to fail me, and I'm very much a creature of habit who's liable to salvage without looking.

Maybe a salvage window would be nice. Like a bag that you drag stuff into to salvage, say with about 20 slots. You then get one confirmation window, and the stuff changes to salvage materials. That way you could look over what you're salvaging, and do lots of items at once, everyone's happy.
